Rail-Based Horizontal Anchorage Systems

A Fixed Rail-Based Horizontal Anchorage System. It is used for securing persons whose work entails the risk of falling.

These Safety Rails can be installed along the entire falling zone.

They offer the advantage of greater fixing spans and higher number of simultaneous users compared with other rail systems.

They can also be guided around corners, e.g. on facades or machines.

Only a few system components are required. Shuttles follow the user along the rail smoothly.

When used in conjunction with Crane Descenders, this will allow unrestricted work movements and in the event of a fall, it will lower the person to the ground at a constant speed of about 1m/second, which is ideal for evacuations.

Made of pickled stainless steel and available in fixed lengths of 6 m.

Rails can be curved, with any radius greater than 2000 mm for rail mounted in either upwards or sidewards orientations.

All system fixings are attached with either A4-80 stainless steel anchor studs/chemical mortar/threaded bolts, washers, nyloc nuts and Loctite®
